[+] What is Reece Crossings?
Reece Crossings is Fort Meade's first-ever privately-developed, on-post garden-style apartment community. This modern apartment community is comprised of 432 one- and two-bedroom apartments with 816 beds. The project offers 1,100 square foot one-bedroom plus den and 1,141 square foot two-bedroom apartments.
Active-duty service members (all ranks), Federal Government Civilians and Meade DoD Contractors are eligible to reside at Reece Crossings.
[+] Where is the apartment community located?
Located at the intersection of Mapes and Cooper Avenues on post at Fort Meade, Reece Crossings is close to shopping, military resources and popular on-post amenities like the Shoppette, Post Exchange, Commissary, barber and the bowling alley.
The community is centrally located on post within walking distance of the dining facility and workplaces to include Defense Information System Agency (DISA), Defense Media Activity (DMA) and Defense Information School (DINFOS).
Reece Crossings is also conveniently located within minutes of off-post restaurants, shopping and entertainment such as the Arundel Mills Mall, GameStop, Ram's Head Center Stage, Joe's Crab Shack, Cheesecake Factory and more.
Baltimore, Annapolis and Washington, DC are only a short drive from Reece Crossings. Each city offers a wide array of activities such as museums, sporting events, historical sites, entertainment and restaurants.

The Reece Crossings community offers top-notch amenities and gathering spaces to include:
- 6,233-square-foot community clubhouse
- Resort-style pool with lap lanes
- Outdoor fire pit, grilling and picnic pavilions
- A Full-size and half size basketball court

The 24-hour community clubhouse was designed specifically to meet the lifestyle of our residents. Clubhouse amenities include:

Reece Crossings is a modern apartment community offering 1,100 square foot two-bedrooms with 1.5 bath apartments and 1,141 square foot two-bedroom apartments. The apartments feature large kitchens with a breakfast bar and full-size appliances, spacious living rooms, a laundry room with washer and dryer and cable, high-speed wireless Internet and utilities included at one low price.
Residents living at Reece Crossings also enjoy private master suites which include individual bathrooms, walk-in closets, personal climate controls, and personal climate-controlled secure storage for military gear.
[+] Who is eligible to live in the apartments?
The community is open to all branches of the military. Any active-duty service member that receives BAH is eligible to live at Reece Crossings. Personnel do not need to be stationed at Fort Meade to qualify. Service members who meet the above qualifications that are assigned for duty within 50 miles of Fort Meade may also live at Reece Crossings.
Additionally, Federal Government Civilians and DoD Contractors who work on Fort Meade are eligible for an apartment in the community.
[+] Are utilities all inclusive?
Yes. You are only required to pay a monthly flat rate billing fee of $50. The utility billing fee includes uncapped electricity, heating/cooling, hot water, water/sewer, trash (Valet Trash coming soon), internet and cable TV. Each apartment at Reece Crossings has a built-in microwave, dishwasher and full-sized washer and dryer. Plus, every resident has a personal climate-controlled secured storage for military gear.
[+] What is a Flat Utility Billing Fee?
The monthly flat utility billing fee is to offset a small portion of administrating an uncapped “all inclusive” utility program. This allows us the ability to continue to offer utilities inclusive of your monthly rent.

[+] Why was this apartment community constructed?
Reece Crossings is a no-cost initiative to the Army that gives more than 1,400 active-duty service members, who already receive BAH, an option to live on post at Fort Meade, MD.
On-post housing enhances the military experience and fosters a sense of community for service members. The project provides military members the opportunity to live on post in quality homes that they deserve—a benefit that didn't previously exist and that their married counterparts already experience in privatized family housing. It provides great value, convenience and cost-savings to those that choose to live on post.

Reece Crossings is a modern apartment community comprised of 432 one- and two-bedroom apartments with 816 beds. The project offers 1,100 square foot two-bedroom with half baths apartments and 1,141 square foot two-bedroom apartments.
[+] Does the community feature environment-friendly construction practices?
At Corvias, sustainability is a priority. The apartments at Reece Crossings incorporate a sustainable site design and environmentally-friendly construction practices. Apartments are energy, water and lighting efficient.
To help ensure sustainability, Reece Crossings has been designed in accordance with Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Silver, Low-Impact Development (LID) and ENERGY STAR® guidelines, including advanced storm water management techniques such as bio filtration facilities and rain gardens. Within the apartment homes, use of low-flow toilets, faucets and showers will significantly reduce the use of water and the use of ENERGY STAR® rated appliances and high efficiency HVAC systems will reduce energy consumption. The project also sources and uses recycled, low-maintenance, regional materials to reduce transportation cost and carbon emissions from delivery vehicles.
