Setting a New Year’s resolution January 1 is easy, but sticking with it for the next 364 days can be tough. Service members and their families have a resource to help keep those resolutions going in 2017.
Military One Source, a one stop shop of information, resources and tools, provides assistance to help the military and family members in any aspect of life. The most popular areas include work-life balance, a healthier lifestyle and relationship improvement.
In addition to the information available Military One Source offers free and confidential non-medical counseling. For your convenience, counseling is available in person, online or by telephone. Counselors address everyday stressors, relationship concerns, deployment and reintegration, financial management and many other issues.

Pets - All authorized and registered dogs must be on a leash at ALL times with the owner. Dogs reported to the office without leashes or not registered will lose their pet privileges
Packages - All unclaimed packages in the office will be returned to the post office if not picked up within 7 days. In addition to the community office, please check the parcel boxes for mail and packages.
Smoking - Reece Crossings is a smoke free community. All smokers must be 15 feet away from all buildings. Attention residents if you see residents who are smoking in the breezeways of the buildings please report them to the leasing office.
Moving and Notice to Vacate - As a reminder, all notices to vacate require 30 days for active duty service members and 60 days for government civilians. Residents are responsible for those days unless military orders do not provide enough time for notice.

Spread the word! Deadlines for the Corvias Foundation scholarships for children and spouses of active-duty service members are coming up soon. Applications for high school seniors are due February 9 and applications for spouses are due May 4. Applications available online at corviasfoundation.org.
Still using plastic grocery bags at the Commissary? Consider bringing your own reusable bags. It takes a 15-year-old tree to produce 700 grocery bags.
Your community calendar can help you stay up-to-date on trash, recycling, lawn care, resident events and community activities.
