Tell us how we’re doing and you could win big! Keep an eye out on May 4th for an e-mail from ARMYHousingSurvey@celassociates.com containing a link to your 2017 Army Survey. This important survey will help ensure the continued success of the RCI program in meeting your needs and will help guide the Army and Corvias in the development of future improvements to your homes and services. The survey results are confidential, so please share your true opinions and thoughts. All residents who complete the survey will be entered into a weekly raffle to win some great prizes to include an Amazon Alexa and $50 Amazon gift card, $250 gift card, GoPro camera and accessory pack, and a Xbox 1S. The grand prize winner will receive a free month of rent.
Come out to the resident event to enjoy an early Cinco de Mayo celebration on Thursday, May 4th from 5:30pm-7pm at the community center. Catering will be provided by Baja Fresh. Check your email for the link to register on Eventbrite.
Your Basic Allowance for Housing (BAH) is the stipend the Department of Defense allocates to pay for the majority of rent and utilities. When you live on post, BAH includes rent, average utilities, fire and police services, municipal services, as well as services like lawn care, trash removal, pest control, home maintenance, community amenities, project costs and future improvements. Click here to learn more about how Corvias uses BAH.
Attention residents if you see residents who are smoking in the breezeways of the buildings please report them to the leasing office. Reece Crossings is a smoke free community in which all smokers have to be 15 feet away from all buildings.
In roommate living situations please be courteous to your roommate. Living room spaces and kitchens must be shared equally. The secret to success in roommate situations is communication.
Any vehicle without the proper parking permit will be towed at the owner’s expense without notice by Lenny’s Towing. Please ensure your parking permit is displayed and visible at all times.
As a reminder, all notices to vacate required 30 days for active duty service members and 60 days for government civilians. Residents are responsible for those days unless military orders do not provide enough time for notice.
Thank you for not littering and helping to keep our community clean. As we move into the warmer months please remember to continue to use the pet waste stations around the community and pick up after your pets. Also ensure that the used bags are thrown in the trash cans and not left in the walkways or near the stairs.
Don’t forget! Applications for the Corvias Foundation $5,000 Educational Grants for spouses of active-duty service members are due Thursday, May 4. The application is available online at corviasfoundation.org.
The Reece Crossings Community Center pool at Fort Meade will open on Saturday, May 28 at 1pm for Memorial Day weekend. The pool is open to Reece Crossing residents. Residents will need to provide a pool pass to access the pool. Two guests are allowed per resident. Pool hours are 1pm-8pm, the pool is closed every Wednesday. Residents who do not have a pool pass should pick one up at the Community Office.
For more information on pool passes or openings, please contact the Reece Crossings Office. We look forward to a summer of fun in the sun at the pools!
Take advantage of spring weather! While the temperatures outside are comfortable, use a window or ceiling fan instead of the air conditioner. A fan only requires a tenth of the energy needed to run an air conditioner.
